09 The Plan of Peace

The Plan of Peace

To live at peace
with our creations
man to machine
machine to man

A plan long ago
The first Cyclon war
distruction reigned
between the two

but there are those
tired of war's path
created another hope
and peace between
man and machine

The Gods of the many
became The God of the One
Symbol of the desired hope
that future time holds

The two fought to
the final distruction
of that old planet
man and machine worked.

Come into the time
at cycles' end
where transition waits
for man and machine

that discovery known
pieces come together
upsets time's balence
only for a time

the plan from long ago
works into manifestation
of the new way
peace between man and machine

On their new planet
from myths time
the journey of discovery
toward the new hope

that waits in Earth
Seeing new beginnings
begin a new cycle
in creation's scheme,
in 2008.
